School Visit from Muhammadiyah X High School Surabaya

On January 16, 2024, Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta warmly welcomed a group of 50 students from Muhammadiyah X HS Surabaya, accompanied by four teachers. The purpose of their visit was to gain a deeper understanding of Polkesyo and explore the various study programs it offers. The Director of Polkesyo, Dr. Iswanto, S.Pd, M.Kes, along with Vice Director 3 for Student Affairs, Dr. Umi Istianah, S.Kep, Ns, M. Kep, Sp.MB, and the Acting PIC of Promotions, personally greeted the visitors.

In his welcoming address, the director highlighted Polkesyo's significance as a top choice for high school students aspiring to pursue careers in healthcare. He elaborated on the array of facilities and resources available to support academic endeavors, as well as opportunities for engaging in student activities both locally and internationally. To further illustrate Polkesyo's appeal, two students, Moch Naufal Tsany from the Bachelor of Anesthesiology Nursing Study Program, and Augusta Farawansa Firdaus from the Bachelor of Applied Midwifery Study Program, shared their personal journeys, from their initial interest in enrolling at Polkesyo to their enriching experiences during lectures and campus life.

The students from Muhammadiyah X HS Surabaya eagerly absorbed the information provided, displaying great enthusiasm throughout the visit. The day concluded with a comprehensive campus tour, allowing the visitors to explore the various facilities and buildings on campus.
