Visit by Eurosearch Consultants GmbH from Germany

Eurosearch Consultants GmbH, a leading German consulting firm, conducted a visit to Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta (Polkesyo) on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. Prior to this, they had visited Poltekkes Kemenkes Jakarta 3 and Semarang as part of their tour to understand and explore the technical aspects of implementing German language learning, particularly in Polkesyo's International Nursing program. Their aim was also to provide support for enhancing the capacity of Indonesian healthcare professionals intending to work in Germany.

The delegation, comprising CEO Joy Edwin Thanarajah and IESG Business Development Manager Dennis Fromm, along with a team from the Directorate General (DG) of Health Personnel led by Mrs. Dr. Sri Wahyuni M.Sc., was warmly received by the Director of Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta, Dr. Iswanto, SPd, MKes. They were accompanied by Deputy Director 3 for Student Affairs, Dr. Umi Istianah, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep., Sp.Mb, as well as management and lecturers. The majority of students present during the visit were enrolled in the International Nursing program.

During his address, the Director highlighted Polkesyo's pioneering efforts in establishing international classes and expressed optimism that Polkesyo students would be well-equipped to contribute to global healthcare, including opportunities in Germany.

CEO Joy Edwin Thanarajah shared insights into the healthcare workforce landscape in Germany, outlining various career opportunities and strategies for entering the German healthcare sector. Students enthusiastically engaged with the presentation, posing insightful questions.

The visit concluded with a campus tour, allowing the Eurosearch Consultants GmbH team to explore the diverse facilities available at Poltekkes Kemenkes Yogyakarta.
